Craft Cocktail Recipes from Leanderthal® Distilling
The Truly Texan Margarita™
In a shaker with ice: 2 parts TexAgave Blue Agave Spirits, 1 part Triple Secession Texas Orange Liqueur, 3 parts Lime Juice, and little simple syrup to back off the tartness to your liking. Strain into a glass with salted rim and garnish with a lime slice.
The Hipsturbia™
In a shaker of ice: 2 parts Leanderthal Vodka, 1 part Triple Secession Texas Orange Liqueur, 3 parts cranberry juice, 1 part Lime Juice. Shake with plenty of ice and strain into a glass with a sugared rim if you prefer. Garnish with orange or lime.
No Russian Collusion
This is like a White Russian but since 80 proof JAVAgave stands on its own, the Russian part (vodka) isn't needed. In a highball glass full of ice add 1.5 oz of JAVAgave and top with milk. (We use whole milk in the Leanderthal Lounge but use what you prefer.) Garnish with dark chocolate shavings and a couple of roasted whole coffee beans.
The Basil Fawlty
Muddle a couple of large basil leaves in a tablespoon or two of sugar. Then add 2oz of Whit's Leander Dry Gin and 2 oz of lemon juice. Shake over ice, strain, and service in a martini glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with a floating basil leaf.
