Long brand name. Even longer finish.
After distillation in Tennessee, this bourbon was dripped through sugar maple charcoal before barrel aging. We aged it more in Texas and refined it with oak and pecan charcoal. You'll savor complex layers of flavor and a long smooth finish. Whether you were born here or moved here...
Drink like you belong here.™
There is no such thing as a "Tequila" made in Texas. Mexico owns that word that like France owns the word "Champagne."
But now there IS TexAgave. This honestly Texas made liquor for your margaritas has a delicious flavor all its own. With a pleasant tropical aroma and what's been called a "dangerously smooth finish" it's a spirit perfect for margaritas, sunrises, and more.
Don't let the low price of our best selling vodka fool you. We don't think vodka has to BE expensive to TASTE expensive. And this vodka sits at the intersection of quality and affordability. A lot of people think the number of times distilled is what's most important. But what happens after distillation is just as important: charcoal filtration and quality water for proofing.
Texas's first 82 proof Triple Sec, this is a seriously strong and complex orange liqueur. It may remind you of premium French brands but without the snooty price tag. Perfect for top shelf cocktails. Perfectly capable of standing on its own.
Did you know alcohol labels have to be approved by the federal government? It's true. So now

We call it the ORIGINAL MIXED BREED GIN.™ To create it, we borrowed a celebrated tradition of wine and Scotch makers -- expert blending. A number of gin styles were curated and blended into this unique, aromatic, and complex gin.
The result is a fine gin rooted in traditional botanicals of juniper and others plus a complex depth and long finish from more innovative ingredients. This gin is our founder's favorite product...and it's not just because the label features his favorite mixed breed dog.
When we were working on Whit's Gin, a bulk spirits broker asked our founder, Scott, a pretty stupid question: "Are you interested in 270 gallons of fine five year aged Kentucky whiskey?" A maker who switching from a 5 year aged product to a 4 year product was willing to sell it to us and after sampling it, we jumped on it. At a time when
When we were working on Whit's Gin, a bulk spirits broker asked our founder, Scott, a pretty stupid question: "Are you interested in 270 gallons of fine five year aged Kentucky whiskey?" A maker who switching from a 5 year aged product to a 4 year product was willing to sell it to us and after sampling it, we jumped on it. At a time when makers are rushing 2 year products to market, 5 years is solid. After a proprietary maneuver to mellow it even further, we proofed and bottled it. Then we hand numbered and signed each one. 1500 bottle release and when it's gone it's gone. Named for the 17 defenders of the Alamo who were born in Kentucky like this whiskey.
Later this month, Leanderthal Distilling will once again transform into an experimental theater to benefit Leander's community theater that lost their lease during the pandemic.
Help support live theater in Leander by taking in this fascinating play. Here's the synopsis...
Thomas, a beleaguered playwright/director, is desperate to find an actress to play Vanda, the female lead in his adaptation of the classic sadomasochistic tale Venus in Fur. Into his empty audition room walks a vulgar and equally desperate actress—oddly enough, named Vanda. Though utterly wrong for the sophisticated part, Vanda exhibits a strange command of the material, piquing Thomas’ interest with her seductive talents and secretive manner. As the two work through the script, they blur the line between play and reality, entering into an increasingly serious game of submission and domination that only one of them can win. The show runs weekends of July 29 and Aug 5.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/venus-in-fur-by-david-ives-tickets-310614023907

IMPORTANT: We will not be open to the general public during the performances. Tickets will be required.

Bartender Jim Nunn may be our next great action hero but he's just as friendly and approachable as ever. Created by our friend, Stephen Flosdorf, this is the drink we planned to release when the new Bond film came out. We're still waiting for the movie but we're done waiting to release the drink.
At least not too often. We'll only let you know when something fun that we're sure you're gonna love comes up.
